Areas of Practice

Mr. Chaban is a graduate of Suffolk University Law School and Bowdoin College, where he earned his B.A. in Government and Legal Studies and was a member of the men’s soccer team. Originally from Andover, Massachusetts, Mr. Chaban has maintained a strong connection to the Merrimack Valley. Prior to beginning his legal career, he worked for the Lupoli Companies as a Development Analyst and Project Manager, gaining hands-on experience in real estate development, construction, property management, permitting, and residential leasing. His responsibilities included working with subcontractors and municipal officials, reviewing construction plans and proposals, coordinating project schedules, and addressing property improvements and ADA compliance. This experience provided him with a practical understanding of the real estate industry and helped shape his interest in pursuing a career in real estate law.

Mr. Chaban’s legal experience included interning with Butters Brazilian LLP, where he gained experience preparing purchase and sale agreements, HUD statements, Declarations of Trust, Trust Certifications, and powers of attorney, as well as conducting title examinations. He also served as a Judicial Intern to the Honorable Chief Justice Paula Carey of the Massachusetts Trial Court, where he attended trials and hearings, conducted legal research, and assisted with the implementation of new courthouse technologies. Earlier in his career, Mr. Chaban gained experience in federal and state government affairs, working with the National Association of Home Builders and Dempsey, Lucey & Associates on issues involving housing policy, rent control, government programs, and state legislation.

Outside of the office, Mr. Chaban enjoys staying active and spending time with family and friends. He is an avid golfer and tennis player and enjoys spending time outdoors whenever possible. He also serves on the Board of the Boys & Girls Club of Lawrence, where he is proud to contribute to an organization that provides meaningful opportunities and support to young people in the Lawrence community.
